Philosophy & Treatments
Every patient is individual and has his own history. In our practice, we offer western and eastern approaches to tread the mind and the body, because we believe that psychological and psychosomatic diseases can be addressed in different ways.
Emotional processes always find an expression in physical reactions and are subject to constant change. An immediate perception and trust in our emotions can help satisfy the basic human needs for connection, control, self-esteem and joy. The demands of our environment can lead to pathological stress and emotion processing patterns that can favor and maintain psychological and somatic illnesses. As a result, our basic needs are neglected and our wellbeing is affected.
In the context of a therapeutic treatment, the development of an illness can be clarified and biographic events can be addressed in order to sharpen our awareness of pathological processing patterns and to pave the way for problem solving. According to Chinese Medicine, emotions can affect the body and vice versa, physical disharmonies can influence the mind. We therefore also offer body therapies to treat psychosomatic illnesses and to activate the body's self-healing powers. Every new emotion and every physical symptom has something to tell us. Whether you are interested in psychotherapy or body therapies like acupuncture, shiatsu or craniosacral touch therapy - we are here to listen, to interpret the signs and to offer a treatment tailored to our clients' needs.
Psychotherapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most commonly used and evidence-based forms of therapy. As the name suggests, it's about changing your own thoughts and behaviors. The therapist works with the client to question dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns and helps the client establish more helpful thought and behavior patterns. In our practice, in addition to behavioral therapy, we work with an integrative approach in which we individually incorporate elements of other therapy schools that have been proven to be scientifically helpful into our treatment. It is particularly important to understand behavioral patterns, which can be experienced very often in a biographical context and can be seen in different areas of the patient's life.

Traditional Chinese Medicine
Thin needles have been used for thousands of years in Chinese Medicine to cure or prevent illnesses. To get a complete picture of each patient, the acupuncturist asks detailed questions, takes the pulse and looks at the tongue. The treatment is specifically tailored to each patient's needs and is carried out by placing fine needles to stimulate specific acupuncture points. This helps to regulate the vital energy Qi and activates the body's self-healing power - health and wellbeing are promoted in a natural way. Acupuncture is well known for its beneficial effects in the treatment of many diseases, but is also used in addition to western medicine or as a preventive method to promote health and vitality.
Craniosacral Biodynamic
Craniosacral biodynamics developed from osteopathy. Pioneers in this area have learned that the body regains its relationship with health through silence. Self-healing powers are activated and human resources are strengthened.
The session begins with a conversation. The treatment takes place lying down in comfortable clothing. The mindful touch is gentle and calm and has a regenerating and uplifting effect. It is a deeply relaxing method that also strengthens the connection between body and mind.

Somatic Experiencing ®
When processing overwhelming experiences, Somatic Experiencing enables you to approach such experiences carefully in a safe and contained environment.
In the SE TM -work, attention is focused on the physical perceptions as well as on the mental and emotional experiences associated with the traumatizing experience. This leads to a gentle, slow discharge of the held energy and a return to natural self-regulation combined with more vitality, well-being and resilience.
In the SE TM -work, attention is not drawn to the memory of the traumatizing event, but to the way in which this experience is shown in a person in the present moment.
Safe & Sound Protocol ®
Dr. Stephen Porges developed based on his Polyvagal Theory the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). It is a five-day auditory intervention designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while improving social engagement and resilience. By calming the physiological and emotional state, Porges opens the door for improved communication and more successful therapy.
The SSP is a research-based therapy that can show results in just five days in the following areas:
Social and emotional difficulties
Hearing sensitivity
Challenges related to anxiety and trauma
Inattention
Stressors that affect social engagement
